Ideas:
Randomly generated Friendly and Hostile kingdoms. Colored flags like Red, Pink, Black, Gray, (or Grey) Brown, and Violet could be Hostile Kingdoms. Colored flags like Blue, Cyan, White, Yellow, Green, and Orange could be Friendly Kingdoms. Raid the hostile kingdoms by attacking either through reinforced walls, with obsidian hidden inside them, and work your way up the village through rampaging guards and villagers, make it to the Keep/Castle, and defeat the Evil King. Doing so grants you control over the village, repairs any damage done, and gives you a choice; Make your villagers follow you to a new location, or keep the castle, and tax them for one Gold Ingot per 3+ Days.
Friendly castles may have inns or hotels in which you can sleep for 1-10 Gold Ingots (Depending on Luxury of Rooms.) Friendly kings can be either bribed or Challenged to a duel, in which you can capture the kingdom. You can also find Bandit Strongholds in forests, deserts, and plains. These strongholds start as a simple camp, and slowly turn into hostile Kingdoms. Destroy them before allowing so!

Would be great if you could include some more information though.
Such as what the mod actually does, what you plan to add, and maybe a few in game screenshots.
