Caught in a geomagnetic storm, you've been stranded in the Canadian Wilderness... how long will you survive The Long Dark?

This is a 1.10.2 Sandbox Survival map by the Walschaerts Build Team, a fan-work based on the popular game The Long Dark, which can be found here:

It completely changes survival mechanics within the game, so do not anticipate it to play like Minecraft.
You are required to play with Optifine installed, which can be found here: http://optifine.net/downloads

SETTING REQUIREMENTS:
-Video Settings > Quality > Dynamic Lighting: Set to either Fast or Fancy, your choice.
-Render Distance of 8 or higher.
-Optifine for Minecraft version 1.10.2. No specific version required.
-It is recommended you play the map on a server, regardless of if you are playing in singleplayer or not.
While the singleplayer version is indeed streamlined for solo use, it will still behave best if played on a server.

We do not claim the entire resourcepack as our own. While many of the textures are created by us, we also borrowed/created textures based on existing imagery.
