This is an update from my last calculator this one is 1.8.1 ready and has added features. The newer model has a working display that can hold numbers that have 9 digits so it can hold numbers as big as 9 Billion. It still can do all the functions of the last model like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. In addition, the Calculator is super fast it can almost handle the spamming of inputs. When you enter a number, it will be displayed on the sidebar as well as the display that is to the right of the input board. This is the same for the second number and the final answer. This version takes up 14x12x18 blocks and is super compact. I added a resourse pack to change the Itemframes and the text that's it.

In General the way it works is using the in game addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division; using scoreboards. There are several dummy scoreboards that track the data and you can see one of them in the sidebar. Then I used a mechanic that Octavigon created to display scoreboards. I used Armor Stands, Item Frames, and some commands to make this work. I will try to do a video on how it works when I have time but my schedule is super busy at the moment.

How to use: You can right or left click on the key pad to enter in the numbers and function for the problem you want to do. When you want to clear the last equation you worked hit the AC button on the pad to reset everything. Note if you do left click make sure you aim at the middle of the map so you will not break the block behind it. This will cause the machine to mess up.

Bugs:
  • Numbers bigger than 1 Billion; Minecraft has problems working with and will cause errors in your inputs and final answers.
  • Negative numbers display does not have the ability to work with negatives so it will not display them. The sidebar has no problem with them. It will not break the calculator if you do get a negative number in an answer. I do plain on adding support for this but I just haven’t gotten around to it.
  • Moveing the calculator. If you do want to move the calculator you will need to copy the maps over and move the callculator to the exact spot in the other world or it will not function properly.

A special thanks to Octavigon for letting me use part of his creation in mine, you can check out his video here: http://youtu.be/HuSOTXJ--8k

Hey, man. This is a very cool calculator. I really like the user-interface. One problem, though, is that Octavigon's scoreboard transfer system isn't instant. I just recently made one that will actually transfer the scores instantly and is much more compact. Here's the link if you'd like to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrkrmqEViBs
Anyways, great calculator. It looks awesome! :)

Thanks and the way that you went about solving the speed problem of that calculation is really impressive. If I do go about updating this build, again I will look into implementing something similar to what you have created. Also do you have any ideas of increasing the speed at which the calculator removes the un needed zeros?

Thank you. Also, which un-needed zeros are you talking about exactly?

When the calculator finishes calculating the final number there are a bunch of zeros left in front of the biggest number. Example of this is 000056708. A few seconds after the calculator finishes it starts removing those zeros. So the number will look like this 56708. Right now, the calculator is slow to remove those numbers how would you speed it up?
