3 - 9 Chome 4 Tanimachi is the third house on the 9th block of Chome 4 in the Tanimachi district. It is located immediately next to the Nakadera district, and is on the same block on which the Tsunekuni Temple stands on. (in the Nakadera half of the block)

It is a Showa era wooden kanban kenchiku house with 3 floors, which is very unusual for wooden houses in Japan at that time, as most were only 1 - 2 floors. It survived the devastating Osaka air raids.
