So here's the start of my adventure area. The plan is to make a huge city.Instead of making it in solo play, Ive decided to make it on our server so all the members can play.
A bit of a challenge trying to keep this hidden from everyone but so far so good.
. As opposed to many MC city builds Im aiming for a real grunge look to the place. So small claustrophobic streets with dead ends. Inspiration has come from fable 2&3 artwork and old london town. All in all not a nice place to be in the evenings! Im a bit of a nut when it comes to building interiors so every building will have fully kitted interiors. Running through the city is a canal where all industrial building will be based.
The idea is that you can literally get lost wandering around the city then as it moves further out becomes less grime and muck and more money based housing, etc.
The storyline (obviously a secret) is going to be initially based in the city and then moving in and out of the city as the adventure progresses. Built on our OAP server and hidden from all players. (a very remote part of the map to say the least!)

started on market square and more additional buildings, finished lighthouse, which was made from seabed upwards(!) (seemed like a good idea at the time) but came out much better than i imagined. Lighthouse also has flashing light. Added market stalls and start of upmarket end of the city. also included is waterwheel cottage. Next adding secure harbour and continue the more industrial theme along the canal.
