This machine takes in diamonds and supplies a bunch of items which type has been specified by the player using the selector panel. This machine, specifically the binary control panel, is expandable and the timers can be adjusted to your needs. It can both supply stackable and unstackable items, but unstackable items cannot be restocked using the item sorters.
First, the player specifies which item he wants to buy using the selector panel. A catalogue with the corresponding ids needs to be supplied. This selection, saved by RS-NOR-Latches, is passed into a binary decoder unlocking the corresponding hopper from this side. Once a diamond is entered into the system the timers on the other side of the hoppers are activated allowing a specific number of Items to be passed through. Simultaneously any further diamond inputs are blocked and a lamp is activated until the last timer deactivates.
The design also features a sorting-system for easier restocking of stackable items. Items that cannot be sorted drop back through into the output chest.
This was inspired by MumboJumbo's take on the problem in a 1.14 snapshot, this implementation however relies on 1.5 features and should be backwards compatible with few timing issues. The world has been built in 1.13.

You should however be able to load this world into 1.12 just fine. the world file hasn't changed much and I don't use any features not present in the 1.12 update.
