Hi,
here is my first creation of an big Airship. It is based on the Galleon "The Sovereign of the Seas" from Desdruktiva .
With its 7 decks, 2 big air tanks, 3 propeller and front sails its dimensions are:
Length: 300 Blocks
Width: 77 Blocks
Height: 72 Blocks
List of the Decks from top to bottom:
- Captains Steering Deck
- Captains Decks with Captains Office
- Upper Deck with Map Room, Library, Brewery and Open Deck
- Stone Deck with Mason, Leatherworker and Fletcher
- Metal Deck with Armorer, Toolsmith and Weaponsmith
- Farm Deck with Pantry and Armory & Treasury
- Storage Deck
What you will find:
First of all, the Zip file contains two schematics of this ship as well as a 1.16.3 based map. One version is without a crew (Schematic "AirshipBig.schem") and the other has already a crew of villagers (Schematic "AirshipBig-C.schem"). On the Map both are present. Each Airship is oriented from north (propeller) to south (front sail) and has 2 Glowstone blocks in their corners for easy copy or cut. And of course the ships are spawn save.
This Airship can hold 220 Villagers with all professions on its 7 decks. It also has a small area for livestock on the Farm Deck. Cows, pigs, sheep and chicken are present next to the 4 popular farm plants beetroot, potatoes, carrots and wheat.
A staircase leads from the Captains Deck down to the Storage Deck and gives you fast access to the decks. Due to the villager's behaviour and path finding, unfortunately the decks with villager areas needed to be separated into two or more sections each. Without iron doors and fences all villagers ran to one edge of the ship and never found back to their beds and job stations.
All villagers were leveled manually to their Master grade to get the most random offers, except the Librarians. Because of the huge range of offers, the Librarians were created with 5 categories of enchanted books, General, Ocean, Melee, Ranged and Armor. The prices, discounts and penalties are on the normal offer level, only the books are summarized per category. Like the other villagers the Librarians can be zombiefied and cured to get the best discounts.
The Captains Office contains three areas, the office itself, the bedroom and the Captains own Treasury.
In the restricted areas all chests, double-chests and barrels are filled with the items which are displayed on the itemframes.
Tips and Hints:
First of all, the ship contains nearly 800 entities whithout and nearly 1.000 entities with crew to paste when using the schematics. Please make sure that you paste it with the "-e" parameter when using WorldEdit or similar for other programs/mods.
As it is a huge structure you might want to disable the DaylightCycle and set the time to noon. It could be that Zombies and Skeletons can spawn, depending on the latency and the light sources if they are not loaded in time.
