After a bout of strange mob despawnings in the town of Weiselrath, the Church of New Redemption agreed to send clerics to investigate.
Weiselrath not being large enough to accomodate a big church, they opted for a smaller place of worship. The Shrine of Protection is based on European pilgrimage huts, usually a roofed statue or painting of a saint. It combines this with the qualities of a statue, a fountain, and a chapel to make a kind of shrine-statue-fountain-thing.
The build is based on the image of an angel protecting travellers under its arms and wings.

I did test this with different materials. Polished granite is my favourite option here for its nice contrast in colors. Polished diorite works very well for an all-white version. Netherbrick turned out to be rather demonic-looking. In general, it works with all building blocks that offer stairs. End rods are optional, the water makes for nice wings even without them.

On Java, end rods cannot be placed in water, making the complete version Bedrock-only.
