This primarilly serves as an announcement. subris is back in the works; redesigned, reimagined, and most of all, lacking those crappy little clusters of generated houses I called cities. Drast, the Largest city in all of Subris is my current focus. I can't say how complete it is, as it will probalby continue to grow for as long as I continue to play. I plan to someday develop drast, and the entire continent into an RPG adventure map. but this is, naturally, ambitious.
I've pulled out all the stops for this project. Scour the city and you'll find architecture and styles remeniscent of Caer Numiel (primarilly at the gates), Elmaris (primarilly at the palace), and several unuploaded projects left in the waste paper basket. Drast is big on a scale I've never attemped, and grows day after day.
Fly north, and you'll even find the village of Almatican. a charming little hamlet built and maintained by the subscribers to my realm, close personal friends, and Calenhad, the city it serves. This points out, of course, the fact that the entire world is survival ready, with small caves, ores (maybe a bit too much emerald), and custom dungeons made of quartz.
But I think it has gotten to the stage where I should post subris release 2.0
NOTE- The 'world save' is a schematic. It was just too large to fit into the schematic field. aboout 14 times too large.
Base terrain generation was done in worldpainter.
Map is 3584x3584
