Animals in Minecraft make the game feel more alive. This is great, except for that animals in Minecraft don't have any life requirements.
Very few of them eat, they don't rely on you for life, and you can't create a Connection with your animals.
With this One Command Vanilla Mod, animals in your world will require food in order to stay alive! And those decorative Hay Blocks will finally serve a purpose!
In short, toss food to an animal to feed them. Animals only eat food for their specific species (Seeds for Chickens, Wheat for Sheep). Horses, Cows, and Sheep will consume hay bales below them or next to them when hungry. This way feeding can be semi-automatic. Animals will have smoke particles when hungry. You need to feed your farm animals and your pets to keep them alive. Cats eat all raw fish, and Dogs eat all raw meat and flesh.
Also, toss a Golden Carrot and a Hay bale to a villager to turn them into an animal trader. Push your animals next to animal traders to exchange them for emeralds.
