WAR FireFight is a series of vanilla PvP maps we're creating that focuses on popular mainstream FPS game modes such as Capture the Flag, Capture Points and Search and Destroy. If you aren't familiar with such game modes, you should definitely search them up on games like Call of Duty, Battlefield and Team Fortress 2.
All maps are done completely in vanilla utilizing command blocks and scoreboard to create a seamless custom PvP game mode experience without any mods.
Hydro is a Capture-the-Flag map where the objective is to steal the opposing team's flag and bring it back to your own flag to score points. Features fast paced action and big open spaces for sharpshooting with bows.
Recommended for 2 - 5 players per team.
The quartz pedestal with the colored wool block on top is your team's flag.When the block is pushed up, the flag is there. If it is retracted down, the flag has been stolen.To steal the enemy's flag, stand near or on top of the wool block. Stealing the flag will remove all of your equipment and give you the colored wool block. Return to your flag with the enemy's flag to capture it and score a point for your team. Note that passing the wool block doesn't pass the flag to your teammate, its just an indication that you have the flag with you. As such you can pass the wool block to confuse and trick the enemy into believing your teammate has the flag while you capture it. You cannot capture the flag if your flag is stolen, the player holding your flag must be killed first in order to return your flag back to it's pedestal.Capturing the flag 3 times (or scoring 3 points) wins your team the game.
Important notes:
Turn on command blocks!
Use only vanilla servers, that's what the map is designed to run on!
