Hello!
Lately I have been testing round with Worldpainter and some of you guys have been requesting to get your hands on my little test map of Denmark.
It may not be perfect, but here it is
Map size:
20.5 x 20.5k
2.39GB
sea lvl: 18
Spawn: Copenhagen
The scale should be somewhere around 1:26.38
It's mostly meant as a survival map, but I bet there are people out there who would like to build some of the major cities in Denmark, Southern Sweden of Northern Germany.
Feel free to use the map as you please as long as you give credit
Enjoy !

Outstanding work c:
I've have a couple of questions and a point that might be upsetting.
So to get to it:
- How did you define the altitude of the landscape? Is it random or accurate and at what scale?
- How did you choose the surface material? Again, is it random or accurate? Did you use satellite photos?
Last, I'm sorry to say this, but the scale is not between 1:4 and 1:3, it's more like 1:23 (1:23.49 to be exact), if 1 in game block is equal to 1 meter in real life. I measured a certain distance on an island in game and the same distance on google maps and found the relation to be 366:8600. If you want it to be 1:4, the same distance should be 2150 in game.2. The materials are pretty random and there are resources to be found underneath the earth which can't be found irl Denmark, like gold & diamonds.
Ahh yes I don't know what I was thinking. I have been calculating a little and I got the result to be 1:26.38 in scale. but it's not 100% corret but it's around that size
Anyway glad you like the map (y) and thanks for the comment
- Did you scale it down to 1:26 or did you go with a larger/smaller scale?
- Okay, cool :)
Glad you figured it out too, was afraid I might have bummed you out :)I really do, it's amazingly accurate ^^
