This is the map I would have applied to a server I would have opened.
It's kind of a sad story, actually.
Last summer, I aspired to make a server. I decided I would start out with the fun part; making a starting map. I started a new world, and got to building. At the time it was Beta 1.7.3, and Pistons had just been added. I started out with building a boat house on the lake I spawned next to. Soon enough, I had built quite a few constructs.
The moment I Googled "how to start a server", my dreams were destroyed. :S
I was overwhelmed by how much there was to starting the server.
So I had built the map for nothing. Nobody else would actually be able to experience what I had built.
I've recently logged back into the map and played around in it for a while. Then, an idea occurred to me.
So here, I am submitting the map to PMC. :D

So, Planet Minecraft. For the small crowd of you that are going to be reading this, I give unto you:

So now, for an overview of the map.
I've built everything there by hand. The only thing I used is Survival TMI. No Creative, no MCEdit, nothing.
In the month or two it took to build what I have so far, I've made:
> A Fishing Lodge
> A Monument Hall
> A (semi-mediocre) house
> An Insurance Company
> A Storage House
> 2 Houses
> A Hot Spring
> A Portal Room
And lastly, the main attraction for the map,
> A MASSIVE Nether Coaster!
On the Nether Coaster, if you have good eyes, you'll know when to get off. C:

So basically, that's it.
IF I happen to get enough Diamonds for this (at least 5), I'll consider adding more to it. Since the Height Limit has recently been increased, maybe you'll see some floating structures or some towers, maybe a Mage's Tower.
So yeah.
That's pretty much it.
