Hello fellow minecrafters. Today, I present to you: EDEN - An underwater utopia. As stated above.


Theres A LOT of my time and effort put into this, for you see I did this entirely on my own (hooray, im independent) and I enjoyed every minute working on it. Now, why did I call it EDEN? Why didnt I call it Atlantis? WELL NOW kids I'll spin ye a quick yarn. I was working late one night, so close to the completion of this project, and all I had to do was think of a name for the place. And I went ahead and called it Atlantis, since its a massive underwater complex, and then shut down for the evening, content in finishing my project that I had been working on for the last two weeks or so. The next morning, im firin up ma PC and no word of a lie, I get the freaking blue screen of death. Bam. Nearly lost all my shiz n stuff, including Atlantis (now known as EDEN) but luckily I managed to recover my PC, with the help of one of my pals about a month later. So I have now concluded that calling anything Atlantis will result in potentially losing it forever, so thats why I changed it to EDEN.

But now for the important stuff. EDEN has many different features (see the pictures) including:
- 5 water tight, connected domes overall
~ 2 residential domes featuring housing and a department store
~ 1 'Biome' dome, functioning as a means to grow food, trees and a place ot hold animals
~ 1 'Research facility, including a nether portal, end portal, enchantment stand, holding pens, alchemy stands and
an iron golem holding pen
~ 1 Central dome, connecting all other domes, featuring an expansive library of all minecraft artwork, a masters
office and other an entrance to the surface
- Each dome being connected via 3x3 tubes
- compact 3x3 piston doorways, operational from both sides of the doors
- esquisite glowstone lighting of the finest variety

#VERY IMPORTANT#
The schematic provided allows you to place it anywhere through MCedit although there are a few simple steps:
1. open MCedit in the world you want EDEN
2. find the EDEN schematic and open it, but dont place it yet!
3. (your probably thinking what monstrosity of endstone is this, but its all with good reason) before placing, uncheck 'Copy air' on the side of the import menu, but leave 'copy water' checked though
4. place it
5. now go on your brush tool, and set the brush to 'replace', 'square' and the dimensions set them all to 200, and REPLACE endstone with air. Click around the centre of EDEN.
6. should be done n stuff. If not pm me, I know its not very clear but it makes placing EDEN a whole lot more easier

Lastly, theres just two things to note about EDEN. 1, it was built intended for peaceful mode, so when you play it on anything other than peaceful theres a hell of a lot of bad guys running around in there and 2, the piston doors are really quite buggy, in some cases they may malfunction just because you placed EDEN in a specific chunk, but they can be fixed easily if you tamper around with the circuitry on the left of the door, just break where ive shown in the pics and replace the redstone torch, that usually fixes it. Otherwise, they make to be pretty efficient slaughtering devices, infliciting severe mutilation!

And even lastly-ier-est, have fun! Its especially fun to destroy all the lights and lay TNT everywhere, then you got yourselves a miniature Rapture, Bioshock style XD
