Just wanted to share some of the progress I made with my 3D model conversion tool, I got it working with BlockBlender.
Joey C's Block blender is a 3D model viewer that lets you view a 3D model in blender as a Minecraft build, what my thing does is take the colors and the blocks and export it as a scheme file. pretty neat
of course, I am doing it the hard way I made my own NBT reader and writer, and most of the Code is my own which is cool but also probably dumb. that is what happens when you want it to be available for as many versions as possible it becomes difficult to re-use other tools.
I am pretty excited about it, and I will be releasing it for free, but I am unsure when I still have some issues to fix.

again I feel this post is a little off-topic to Minecraft builds thus why I put the education category, I would love for there to be a new category that would encapsulate this better.
