The F-8 Crusader was a US Naval Aircraft that was also operated by the US Navy, French Navy and the Philippine Air Force. Having its first flight in 1955, it was operated for 32 years by the USN, and retired in 1999 by the French and Filipinos. There was also a variant operated by NASA, to test Supercritical wings.
