This is Fort Whitesea, a picturesque military institution on the coast. Belonging to the town of Highbury, the Fort also shares close proximity to the town of Portmore. Sitting along the beachfront of Highbury, the pointed coastline shaped the fort with its unique arrowhead shape. The Fort includes such things as a multitude of barracks, a mess hall, a water tower, a park, a command building, stables, an armory, officer's housing, an old, norman chapel, a hospital, and a long beach.

  The Fort was built in the 1850s and 60s, on land that was once a forest owned by the vicar. The vicar, who used to live in the building that is now the hospital, now lives in town but remains at work in the chapel. Fort Whitesea is used to train and reserve soldiers as well as to bring life and jobs to the town of Highbury and to Whitesea. Whitesea is a sovereign state belonging to the greater country of Whiteburg.
  I designed this project in such a way that everything is linear, and the tower is the center point of the whole thing, similar to the Washington Monument in D.C. The tower, statue, and flagpole are all aligned, making for a symmetrical, uniform road plan. I loved molding my plans to the Vanilla generated terrain as well as adapting the terrain to the fort. This fort is based on a similar military institution near my town, and I enjoyed using that as my primary source of inspiration.
