Server Lore:

Over a millennia ago the end of times began, or so the kingdoms of Thenan thought. The land of Thenan was a prosperous one, many kingdoms called this land home. Not all of them saw eye to eye but no one power took hold over the others. That is of course until the shadows came.

At first they had no name; they were simply referred to as Shadowmen. It wasn’t until later that they were discovered to be Enderians, beings that came from the true End of Times. At first the Lesser appeared. Beings which seemed to have no self awareness, mindlessly going about the land terraforming. Then the Greater appeared alongside them. They attacked without mercy, taking over the whole of the land. No one knew what purpose drove them. Even to this day no one is completely sure why they came.

The kingdoms of Thenan attempted to fight back but became vastly overrun within days. Once they realized all was lost, they put aside their differences and all headed for the coast. The last remaining armies of all nations fought off the Enders to give the people a chance to escape.

So many were lost that day...

Those who made it sailed to the island of Fallmoor, the once island prison of those that the kingdoms found unsavory to say the least. It was a place they sent all their immoral and unwanted. They were not so receptive to those that banished them showing up on the shores. The people pushed back and while they were able to carve out a small piece to call home, those that fought back are still out there.

From time to time ships still come in with stragglers found throughout the region that attempted to escape the Shadows. You now find yourself making port at the city of Felhaven, the last remaining beacon of hope. While it may not be a perfect place, what is in these times we find ourselves?

Still to this day there are questions that haunt us all. How did the Ender get here? Are they really from the future? What could possibly be their reasoning for laying siege to the kingdoms? Perhaps some of these questions will be answered in your travels.

Features/Ideas to Strive For:

- MMORPG

Complete with realistic map and rpg elements. Also keeping it somewhat “hardcore” through putting the server on hard mode (realistic hunger) and adventure mode.

- Maintain sandbox feel of Minecraft

Not only having rpg elements within the server, but at the same time allowing players to feel like they can build whatever they like AFTER purchasing a plot of land (details to be finalized)

- Put in place a system to maintain the beauty of the landscape while allowing freedom to build.

One of the ideas is to prevent blocks such as grass and stone from being breakable. At the same time allowing players to purchase “un-breakable” blocks at high costs for their own use so they don’t feel cheated of blocks. Also once a plot is purchased, players are then free to modify as they see fit.

- A well functioning economy.

Main town is the major source of trade. Individual “towns” or “outposts” allowed to specialize in one particular item. EVERYTHING is driven off money, giving players reason to keep playing. Mobs will also drop emeralds, so there’s a way to make money regardless of playstyle.

- An immersive quest system

- An immersive dungeon system

- A class/skill system to allow variety and specialization.

- A guild system.

Players are free to create guilds but with a purpose in mind (ie not a guild in name only). Some examples would be: Thieve’s Guild, Town Guard, Farm Guild, etc.

- Server wide RP events

Shooting for once a month. Maybe more depending on demand and time.
