Welcome to Gardenstone Hotel, a beautiful luxury hotel built in a traditional flat world! Ninety-six comfortable rooms surround the beautiful garden paradise in the center. Each room includes a private bathroom, personal storage (shulker boxes), sofas, and a varying number of beds. The rooms are numbered starting to the west of the lobby and pools. Each side of the square has a different type of room, and every type is available in either a sandstone or quartz section. Available facilities: Two mini-pools, a buffet restaurant (Birch Buffet), a sit-down restaurant (Orchid Eatery), a spa, an aquarium, and a small shop. (I’m sorry the facilities are so small. I started this build a long time ago when I wasn’t as experienced with Minecraft and revisited it recently, and I didn’t want to go through the redesign of the building necessary to really give them enough space.) There is also a minecart track running around the gardens for transport. I tried to make it run slowly enough that you can spot the sign signaling your room number, get out, and destroy the minecart. Hope it worked...

A bit of spa info: The hot tub is for creative mode only- the magma blocks create a great effect with particles set to “all” or “decreased,” but in survival mode they also slowly kill you… Also, you can really lay down on the massage tables or whatever on the second floor. Just stand on the end block of the bed next to the trapdoor. Close the trap door, and you will lay down. Move over so that your head is on the pillow. (There are invisible barrier blocks there to keep you laying.) If you want, you can delete the trapdoor afterward from underneath the barrier blocks, and even the block of bed underneath the trapdoor for a kind of more realistic look.

FYI: In the shulker box by the front desk in the lobby is a guest registry book and a bunch of “review” books for the hotel. Also, in the hall from the lobby to the gardens, there is a shulker box full of “hotel guides” that say where the facilities can be found and list a bunch of “hotel rules.” (For guests, not future managers like yourselves.) This is to make it more realistic, I guess, but mostly because I am a dork. =) Also, there is a naturally spawned village located southeastish of the hotel, fairly nearby. There shouldn’t be any mobs in the world, however, because they were super annoying me, and gamerule doMobSpawning *should* be set to false, but I’m not sure about that. If someone could actually let me know whether these things are consistent, that would be awesome! Thanks!
