The Gerouge Plantation is a fictional plantation house from the 2006 film "Stay Alive" set in St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana, next to the real Kenilworth Plantation. The mansion was fictionally built by Elizabeth Bathory (1560-1614), also known as the "Blood Countess" There's a gruesome story behind her, but I won't go into detail. The mansion follows the same antebellum fashion which was popular in the South from 1783 - 1861, but displays characteristics of an Italianate Villa.

Clearly, the timeline doesn't quite match, but I thought it would be an interesting build nonetheless.
