Stage 1: I am currently making a giant diamond ore block. It's a scale replica of a diamond pickaxe in a diamond ore block. I am not even CLOSE to finishing. I've only begun filling one side with stone. I hope this will be done very soon and I'm working very hard on it. I will probably, once done, make it into a World Edit schematic so anyone who would like to put it into their world could have it. I hope you guys enjoy and I will be updating this frequently.
Stage 2: I have now finished 2 more sides of the stone. I've done the bottom and another side. I'm planning on when I'm finished with all the sides is to break blocks and fill them with diamond blocks to look like the blue on normal diamond ore blocks. I hoping you're enjoy this project so far!!!
Stage 3: I have now finished 1 and a half more sides of the block. I have worked on one side which took forever since I kept getting disrupted. Took like 15 minutes to complete. I now completed half a the 2nd to last side. Soon I'll be finishing the other half and then working on the top. Keep on coming back for more!!!
I've currently stopped the project because school and other things have been going on...

I need some suggestions of what the wood handle on the diamond pickaxe should be made of. Tell me in the comments below!

BTW for the wood handle, wouldnt it make sense to just use wood?
and of course i know that it's three dimensional... and whats the point of making it 50 by 50 by 50?
