Halosere
It's been a bit of a while since I released a project on here so, here's a little build!
The concept of Halosere is based off of its name- in ecology 'Halosere' means succession in a saline (salt water) environment and so the build is designed around 4 different 'eras' or successions and how they interact with one another underwater.
The concept of Halosere is based off of its name- in ecology 'Halosere' means succession in a saline (salt water) environment and so the build is designed around 4 different 'eras' or successions and how they interact with one another underwater.
- Ancient - the ruins and Byzantine architecture inspired palace, which would have once resided on dry land and how it has withstood the elements.
- Nature - the flora and coral which sprung up and overtook the ruins when the terrain was flooded, from storms and melting ice caps.
- Industrialism - represented by the sunken cargo ship and underwater scrap yard and its links to destruction of the surrounding terrain.
- Futurism - the final era of succession, shown by the submarine station, hydroelectric generators and man made establishments under the waves.
