Oh I assumed you were using my sprites as a reference picture since they are pretty much the same block for block

I'm sorry, I'm not saying this because I happen to know Jimmy, but block for block, this is exactly the same as his work. The same goes for a few of ''your'' other sprites. This isn't the first encounter he's had with people doing this either.

He's happy for you to re-build his sprites, but when it comes to uploading them to PMC it's an offence to PMC guidelines not to give the creator credit for the work. See: When uploading a project, above the whole thing there's something saying:
''

Important: Upload Original Content

Quality work and proper credit is important to our
community. Only upload original content that you created. Otherwise,
consider inviting the author to share their own work.''

This is exactly what you went against... The quetion you should ask yourself is, do you want to fight PMC guidelines?

Look, a sprite is a sprite on its own. It isn't something that can be manipulated. Pixel for pixel is how I work and sometimes people mess up and don't do it exactly how it's meant to be. That's when people start speculating when people make little mistakes and someone else does that same thing. I've looked at Jimmy's Haunter and it does look very similar to mine but I found a difference. In between the two eyes of haunter, I've got a 3 block space he has a 2 block space. Assuming he is a better pixel artist than me, I might have looked at the sprite differently or something.
