Helter Skelter??

So, I've made the main body of a cylinder which has white/red stripes throughout and I'm now wondering what to do with it.

I thought of perhaps turning it into a lighthouse but how many times has that been done, then I thought about making a wooden track spiraling around it and using mine-carts to make it into a helter-skelter.
Any other ideas people?

Make a gumball machine! Redstone wire to a dispenser and when you activate it it shoots some slimeball or other stuff.

Yeah a helter skelter would be pretty great, what I think would be cool is one that loops infinitly up and down, using the powered rails. That might make things more difficult to stop though. :P
