Found out block 36 can hold up water- It cant be placed except using a plugin/mod like world edit. I basically outlined water channels with a regular block then switched them all to block #36 that's invisible and holds them up well. I am still experimenting with this invisible block witch I have found to have some very useful and interesting properties. If you'd like a download of this please tell me and ill put one up.
