Due to contracts from civilian colonies the Merchant Civilian Fleet developed the Mk.II Supply Frigate in order to transport basic colony supplies from planet to planet. It is armed with a single defense cannon for asteroid removal and support in hostile environments. Based off of the Mk.I Supply Frigate this design supports a booster engine unit and redesigned bridge for more stability and protection against rough planetoid landings.
