This project will be part of series of version of the same map depicted over prolonged intervals. While the basic idea is a realistic medieval village over time, deviations will probably occur.

Welcome to the village of Caitlin! Its a small village on the coastline consisting of a forest, large field, and the lords manor home. Just off the coast is a small island with a relatively small castle on it. Though the village is tiny now with a low population, expect it to grow in future years as it becomes a town and beyond.

Oh man its been a while! Anyway, Welcome to the Village of Caitlin... or should we now say Town of Caitlin? Since our last episode, this settlement has been steadily rebuilding and improving its fortifications. A wall is now being built around the main town and several houses are under construction; a result of increased demand for labor. New fields have been plowed and a quarry was been opened to meet the new demands for stone.


Next time we visit, which hopefully wont be too far away, will be set in 20 years (hopefully with an actual "year" date).
