The first in (hopefully) a series of modern homes and buildings. This is a 2 story house made with "ribbons" of red and orange, giving it a southwestern feel, while the warm colors make it soft and inviting. The patio in the back features a fire pit, chairs and tables, and a pool. The pool is lit from below, giving it a surreal glowing feel. Almost all of the back patio is covered by cantilevered awnings, which go well with the rest of the home. There is a living room with a large "TV," and a sitting room on the first floor, but as you take the wooden spiral staircase up to the second floor, you are confronted with a wall covered completely in paintings, the bedroom is also on the upper floor, along with a balcony. The entire structure features an open floor plan, and is not only cosmetic, but functional. The entire first floor lighting plan is wired with redstone, so at the flip of a switch all the lights turn off, leaving you to appreciate the home with nothing but the natural lighting streaming through the wraparound windows. I have made two others, the all have the same floor plan, but I have replaced the reds and oranges with blue and light blue, as well as grey and dark grey.
