Morvialla, Morvialla; ooh sweet may it be:
A small fishing village, Morvialla resides on the northen peninsula of what was once a chaotic threshold, held by the Greenback bandits, unlawful residents of the wild northern portion of Glavendauxy. A small forward outpost, Castle Morvialla is considered to be one of the first major strongholds of Elmfax. Built in 1E 018, it was considered a major threat to the new Glavendauxian Imperials under King Aren I.
The fort, while occupied by bandits, was situated dangerously close to Glavendauxy. Small raids often took place in the silence of the night, stealing weapons and armor from the armories of the city. The residing bandits of Morvialla often also held up small merchant ships, and obtained a staggering amount of goods over the course of their reign over the region. When Glavendauxy's entered its golden age, it was finally able to send a siege force to eliminate the Greenback Bandits. Glavendauxy’s siege assumed control of the castle, and cleared the town of the rabble.
Large groups of fishermen and merchants started to stop near the grounds of Morvialla, due to its situation upon the river, and intersecting roads. The new Glavendauxian village became a popular spot for fishing and trading.
With the remains of the original bandit fort cleared away from the peninsula's tip, leaving only the northern wall standing, construction began on a new castle. During the setting of the foundation, another blessing was unearthed: large pockets of gold. This gold attracted miners from Glavendauxy and surrounding towns. The village, with its newfound wealth, became a popular retreat for Glavendauxian nobles and royalty, due to its spacious homes and merchant wagons laden with expensive goods.
