Nathan Lovell Mall

Nathan Lovell Mall is a shopping mall that is located in area 4. The mall is a super-regional mall that opened in 1973 with anchors May Company, Peterson's, Sears, Younkers, and Dillard's. In 2001, May Company was converted to Marshall Field's, then to Macy's in 2006. In 2006, a small wing was built with a mall entrance and some new stores. On January 31, 2007, Von Maur closed. In July 2018, Sears closed. In August 2018, Younkers closed due to The Bon-Ton going out of business. In 2019, the Sears, Younkers, and Dillard's spaces has been demolished for an outdoor wing with includes a new 2 level Macy's and an REI store, Dillard's has relocated to the old Macy's space, and Bon-Ton has opened remodeling the Von Maur space. The 2006 wing became 2 sit-down restaurants since all of the stores that are in there relocated to different spaces, plus the outdoor wing, but the entrance remains open. In March 2023, junior anchors Ulta Beauty and Planet Fitness will open in the former H&M space. Nathan Lovell Mall currently has 54 stores occupied and the mall does have a food court across from Dynamite.
