How did this legendary Battleship born.
Fantsy story invented for the contest.
Thousands of years ago, before the foundation of the Galactic Empire, when Trantor was extending his influence on the entire galaxy defeating the planets of the Union and wars used to be fought with slow and heavy bomber which brought death and distruction on many planet of both factions, were invented some lite cannon which could disable the EM shield installed on the Heavy Bomber.
This new weapon caused a long deadlock period, when battles usually lasted more than a year and always ended draw, with higest losses of human and ships. The crysis extended though both factions binging back entire planets to the dawn of the interstellar flight, reducing commerce and dividing the Reign and the Union frome their suburubs.
After 2 century marked by unsuccesful fight and battles, only two planets continued to develop new technologies: Trantor and Sirio, the capitals of the fighting nations; the destiny of the humanity seemed to be marked.
The armament race became more and more ruthless, even if without the cooperations of the external planets the necessary time to invent new devices could be more than 50 years, involving more generations to develope weapons and defensive systems.
On one of these external planets, fought betewwn Reign and Union for his strategical site as missle-launch base, born a scientist who dedicated his life developing a new kind of ship, who can fight in the open space, destroying enemies fleet during the trip, outperforming the old cruiser which allowed Trantor to conquest the internal planet before the foundation of the Union.

So, we decided to build our Spaceship on the event map to use it later on our challenge map :D
The choice of the object was quite immediate 'cause I play OGame since 2005 and we consider this construction a tribute to that amazing game.
As promised i published it, even if not finished. It'll be completed after the judgment of the contest,

Hi everyone, during the planning of our new custom map we said: "Why don't we set one of the chellenges in the space, in order to put our creation also in the April PMC contest?"So, we decided to build our Spaceship on the event map to use it later on our challenge map :D

Ended the back side with engines. This are NOT like the ones in the photo because we couldn't see the real and there are no other photos on the internet.

I'm sorry I couldn't finish the project for the contest, but when it'll be ended I'll also upload some photos, cause i didn't had time to add when the submission was uploaded; I posted the .zip the last 10 minutes xD
