This was a GROUP Project by Ghoulish and I
Main basis for the house:
Me and Ghoulish are absolutely smitten with interior decoration lol. That is mainly the reason we entered the contest! It is based off the cluttery homey style we absolutely adore. We REALLY, and I mean really, like the builds made with cocricot, so that might say something about what we've done. There have been many attempts to create things we'd like to have in our future homes with armor stands and blocks. We have stuck a touch of everything ( custom maps, armor stands, custom banners, basic interior building, etc. ) into this house so we hope you enjoy it !! :)
The true real experience is to download the map and take a walk around it. BEWARE!! The armor stands are fragile xD
album of inspiration
The Front of the House:
The front yard really only contains a bird fountain, a pile of newspapers, a secret bunny hideout, a pile of leaves, a bike, two gates to the backyard, and some trashcans/recycling bins. Also includes new fall inspired trees!! The porch also has added hanging plants.
The Backyard (separated into parts):
Pond:
A small waterfall type pond with lotus flowers made of baby lotus flowers. It houses pebbles, small fish, and our favorite frog and turtle. Personally, I think this would be a great spot to sit down, feed the fish, and read a book.
Patio:
A cute little patio that contains a hot tub (towel included), a pupper with his food bowls, and a little table with a folded umbrella for nice summer days (a pie for the hungry too!).
Yard Area:
A picnic spread with an open book to read along with an easel and an already finished drawing. If you attempt to dig down into the yard, you might even find some WIP paintings in the ground. (it took a lot of WIPs to make a couple banners, I made at least 8 different prompts and we only used one ;U;).
A small bench with an apple tree and an apple barrel. A cute little gate thing that reminded Ghoulish of Totoro lol. A cute little chicken coop to the side of the bushes.
Garden:
A garden growing carrots, wheat, pumpkins, cauliflower, lettuce, and grape vines. A wheel barrow with lettuce, carrots, and pumpkins. A scarecrow with a bird perched on his head. To the other side (against the garage) is a barbeque grill and a tool shelf with basic tools.
Cellar:
A drippy cellar with grape and wine storage. Also contains a separate wheel barrow and some power boxes and pumps.
Garage:
A garage with a moose head mount and a pickup truck. Another tool shelf and a shelf that holds archery items. An aditional lawnmower for the yard. feat. Gerald the moose (accidentally shot very sorry sir)
Loft:
Some flowers in a pot and some extra hay. An extra clock and a hammock for when you have no where else to go.
Entrance & Living Room:
The closet by the entrance has a pile of clothes and some space filling paintings. There are small adjustments made to the fireplace. A TV and a grandfather clock with an orange couch and some new carpet. With the addition of some fancy lamps.
Kitchen and Table:
A 3 tier cake with a couple plates and some small tea cups. Some Painting clutter and a piano. A smart fridge with added paintings and a cute stove and toaster. Some cabinet and shelf clutter with actual items in them.
Lower Bathroom:
A cup and some drawers with a mirror. Up above the entrance way is a shelf with extra essentials and flower clutter.
Office:
An office with pillow seats, a laptop, some clocks, and a calendar. A bookshelf and some book clutter.
Hall:
A candle with an actual candletip. There's a cute shelf and some painting clutter.
Upper Bathroom:
Some cups or candles with a cute sink and lanterns. The tub on the side has pink and yellow shower curtains and a shower head. There are also multiple shelves with clutter on them.
Bedroom:
A cute little bedroom with plushies and posters. A little shelf with drawers and clutter. The closet has a secret on the top shelf :)
We thought of a little story about how the nephew of an uncle lent this house to him. He just recently moved in so he's only really furnished his room. Sadly I think the uncle probably died but yknow we're gonna go with the happy unsuspecting route.

process
sorry ghoulish just wanted to say that we spent more than +12 hours on this build LMAO- that is mainly because of the unfortunate case of this horse i spawned that ran 180000 chunks per second. It crashed the server :,). this is why you have backups kidssssss, learn your lesson before you accidentally /kill @e everything and then all your armor stands disappear and you were at the almost finish mark of the build and then you lost like a third of the decoration and you cry on the inside for 3 hours and your teammate rebuilds everything so you can regain sanity after having half a mental breakdown because of a horse.
ALSO- after doing this i have learned a lot about rendering and me and ghoulish have learned a ton about building. if you have a renderer, no mater the type, thank them. if you do rendering- godbless you. if your renderer sticks BACKGROUNDS inTO YOUR WORK????? PRAISE THEM! THE TRUE UNDERRATED LEGENDS thAT WORK beHIND THE SCENEs

Downloaded the map and looked around so I could see all the stuff unedited & all player heads. Glad it still looks pretty good & insane with all the twisting armor stands, maps to create painting & such.
Garden feels a bit left over to nature. But I guess that is the style you two went for.
Only major complain for me is the dripping water in the cellar and ground floor. Due to the 1 block thick floor & bath directly above. There is enough unused space in the attic to make a 2 block thick floor though. Not to mention there is only 1 bedroom...
Either way, darn well made you two ( Ghoulish )

Nice phrase
love the dog head just chilling in the bedroom
