PUERTA POSTIGO DEL PALACIO
Puerta Postigo Del Palacio is one of the gates in Intramuros, Walled City of Old Manila exclusively used only for the Governor-General and the Archbishops of Manila. It was served as passageway to the exit of Intramuros for Dr. Jose Rizal to go to Bagumbayan (now Luneta/Rizal Park) on his day of execution. The gate was damaged during WWII but it was rebuilt around 1980s as part of the Intramuros Rehabilitation Project. Today, Postigo Del Palacio is currently used as part of the police station at the Walled City.
