I'm thinking about making this into a horror map. If I decide to are you ok with it? I will give you credit for the build.

It's nice! However, consider building on default texture pack since most uses it. Also (in my opinion) texture packs ruins creativity, it turns your not so good island (not this nor anyones, yet) into instant paradise!

With all due respect, I think you are completely wrong. It's one thing to use renders and Photoshop and all that jazz to make stuff look better than it actually does and it's other thing to use a resource pack to enhance the look of the build ingame. If people want to enjoy a build they will get the resource pack needed for it because it takes 3min to install them. If you want to look at projects in Default, sure go for it, but then you have no rights to complain that it doesn't look like it should because it's clearly stated by the creator, that certain textures should be used.
It's not the creator's problem whether someone will use textures or not. As simple as that.
Cheers.
PS. If you think textures ruin creativity you might wanna take a look on my projects and say that again.
