If you need a basic land mass made to your tastes, but can't be bothered to fiddle with parameters to make one yourself, you've come to the right place!
ALL CREDIT FOR BASIC TERRAFORMING GOES TO WORLDPAINTER. So long as I'm not making any money, I think it's legal.

Here's how to request a map from me in the comments:

*Name - to make sure it doesn't get lost with all my other worlds
*Overall size - Self-explanatory
*Basic land description - What you want it to look like from an eagle-eye point of view
*Detailed land description - Terrain heights, specific details, surface materials, biomes and locations
Foliage - Default is sparse trees everywhere
Underground - Cave densities, ores enabled etc
Anything else important I've forgotten to put here

Example:

Name - Bean Island
Overall size - 500x500 blocks
Basic land description - A fat island shaped like a kidney bean
Detailed land description - Mainly flat, with a desert on one end and a mountain on the other. Default water level and terrain levels. The mountain and centre should be in a snow biome, and there should be a beach on the inner curve of the island. Grass for the main flats, with gravel, cobble and stone for the mountain and desert terrain for the desert.
Foliage- Trees in the centre of the island, none elsewhere
Underground - Minimum caves, ores enabled.

In reply to the requests I shall put an estimated completion date and/or clear up any final details. After completion, I'll message you and delete your comment to clear the comments section.
If you reject my map, that's fine, tell me what went wrong and I can remake it.

If you're thinking 'Well why the hay would I ask someone else to make a map for me?' my answer is:
I'v had a decent amount of experience
I'll waste MY time instead of YOURS finding the right seeds and pruning the parameters
I've got little else to do
You can get on with testing some other stuff which you're gonna put in the map while I make it.

Description: An island made of pumpkin with a hill made of parts of the Nether and another hill with some trees and another hill with some rocks and grass and a snowy area and ice and sand and gravel and OMG I DON'T EVEN COMPREHEND THIS ANYMORE
