If you think that dragons are the biggest baddest mythical creatures around, you are mistaken.

Half lion, half eagle, a griphon will tear a dragon to shreds. Circling above earth at great height, with infallible eye sight, a gryphon will pluck a dragon mid-air. The last thing a dragon will hear is the souring scream of a gryphon diving down which makes the dragons' bones resonate in terror. The split second the dragon realizes what is going to come, the gryphon sinks its claws deep in the dragons back at great speed. As the dragon tumbles to the ground with the gryphon on its back,the gryphon will reach over the dragons' shoulder and slit the dragons neck with its razor sharp beak. As the dust of settles after the dragon and gryphon have hit the ground, the dragon is gasping while blood flows richly out of its mortal wounds. A truelly horrifying image for a dragon.

It's not for nothing griphons are depicted as the defender of treasures. Combining elements from the king of the sky and the king of all animals, the gryphon is on top of the food chain.

I started this project a very long time ago, i wanted to build it as a 1k sub thing, but i never finished it (and building organics is frustrating imho) but recently i was remindend that i never finished it so i felt compelled to pick it up again. And here you have it. Let's hope, one day, gryphons will replace dragons as the most popular organic builds :)
