This map is 7 years in the making. Originally started on Xbox one on December 25, 2015 . The world has switched between many different versions of the game. It originally started on xbox one edition with no world edit or anything. In 2018, I switched it to bedrock edition which had limited world edit but it still made progress faster. Then in June 2021, I switched the world to Java edition Minecraft with full world edit and mods. Ever since then, progress has been going at light speed. More builds have been added since 2021 than 2015 - 2021.

The world is a super-flat with a huge sprawling city on top. The climate I wanted for this city is subtropical; comparable to Miami or San Diego in the US. So there are plenty of palm trees and beaches. The city dimensions are about 1,200 blocks long by 1,000 blocks wide. In total, there are about 750 buildings on the map and about 100 of those have full interior. There are many different areas in the city; Downtown, East side, Riverfront, Residential north and south, and Rollins Beach. Downtown is what you'd expect; skyscrapers and a dense urban landscape. Riverfront is a pedestrian friendly area of downtown by the football stadium. Residential north and south is west from downtown across the river. North and south are divided by a huge 3 lane road that runs straight through the whole city. Then all the way West on the map is Rollins Beach. I went for a beach town vibe with this area with lots of beach houses and high-rise condos. All in all, its going to take you a long time to fly around and see everything!

Future Of The Map

So what does the future look like for this map? Not good lol. Since the map is super-flat, I'm limited by the flat terrain. Also my building style has changed immensely since 2015. I will likely not continue building on this map. But I will not stop building! I am starting a new map with custom terrain and it's going to be way more epic than this map so stay tuned!
