This was originally a project I did on Worldpainter for a roleplay SMP, now I am making it available for download.
The world of Rymglimis is designed for survival, but can absolutely be used for creative projects. It has two main continents, the north roughly corresponding to colder climate, while the south roughly corresponds to warmer climate.
As far as I can tell, most, if not all, 1.16.5 survival resources should be available, though they may be local scarcities. For instance, while clay is relatively rare and only small amounts of it can be found in rivers, there is a massive clay pan on the south continent.
The lowest levels of the world contain large caverns that interconnect and are filled with pools of lava. They are very mineral rich but beware! They also are highly dangerous to the ill-equipped.
Mineral generation has been changed a bit. Iron and coal are slightly more common to make mining in the large mountains more interesting. Extra iron and emeralds can sometimes be found at higher levels too.
The deep seas also hide some treasures, ores and a mysterious prismarine city...
Most trees (except some in the jungle) are custom handmade to be survival-friendly, without any fences and have leaves that decay. :]
This world was designed so that most areas are easily accessible by boat, this means that while rivers do eventually go up in altitude (thereby rendering it impractical to sail upstream) they remain at sea level for some time, long enough to get inland.

The total world size is about 4K wide and 5K high... a lot of that is water though. The SMP this was designed for was really keen on Vikings lol
The world has been opened in 1.16.5, but should be compatible with any 1.16+ version. Opening in a pre-1.16 version may corrupt the world.

There is a void border around the world, beyond that will be vanilla generation. If needed, the void border can be bypassed by elytra, nether portals or by building a 250-block long bridge if you're really keen.
There are no structures within the custom terrain, but vanilla structures should generate outside void border! Also structures should generate fine in the nether/end.
Nether and end are unchanged. End can be accessed by a hand-placed portal at 0,0.
