After all the oversized builds, finally something a bit more realistic: a replica of the biggest Church in my hometown. Construction began in 1892 and finished in 1895. This gothic-revival beauty is the biggest Church in my City, the bell tower with it's hight of 82m can be seen from miles away, towering above everything else downtown. Overall it is 68m long, the Nave reaches a hight of nearly 20m.

For the first time ever there is no interior which felt pretty weird while building. Due to it being a 1:1 recreation with as much detail as possible, the interior would have looked just wrong. I recreated the main roof before its destruction during WW2, yet left both the Lady Chapel and the sacristy out, the latter also being destroyed in the war, and since there are basically no pictures to be found of how it once looked.

I hope you like this one, it is pretty different from the things I usually build, this being my first replication of a real building. And thank you so much for your love, feedback and support over the years!
