This is a city I built called Sky City. It has a castle, a crazy wizard's tower, some small residences and my awesome house. No hostile mobs get get into Sky City, as it is floating and completely lit up. Spiders can't climb the entrance tower because there are two different overhangs to stop them from reaching the top.
