This is a 1:1 scale representation of the 250m Tartan-class Patrol Cruiser. It serves the Empire as a fast and accurate anti-fighter frigate, making it ideal for a number of roles: fighter screening, escort for larger vessels or convoys, limited customs deployments, and as a general light frigate. Where its lacklustre performance against larger vessels falls short, its excellence in the role of anti-fighter duties makes it a worthy adversary to small pirate, privateer, or rebel strike groups which foolishly decide to cross the Empire. Like the Lancer-class Frigate, this ship was probably commissioned following the Battle of Yavin - where Imperial oversight of the threat of small fighters became apparent. It would have been handy to have a handful of these at Endor!


In time, I will add a complex and true-to-lore interior, with various different areas including the crew quarters to house its 75 crew, gunnery areas, command decks, engineering section, medical bay with trauma centre and bacta tanks etc.

Small update 23.01.2017: Planning to at least finish the exterior. I'll probably do the interior as well, in time...
