On a chilly Spring morning, chaos erupts at an abandoned water pumping station. During rush hour, a terrorist group roadblocked the streets surrounding the facility in a coordinated attack to plant a bomb within the main building. Thanks to good intelligence, the local SWAT patrol knew the attack was going to happen and arrived on the scene just in time.

Steam Tunnels is a demolition map made for the Guncolony server. As Terrorists your goal is to plant the bomb at the bomb site in the main building. As SWAT, your job is to defend the building from the attackers at all costs. Both teams have access to an arsenal of hundreds of guns and grenades to equip and use each round.

In order to infiltrate the facility as a terrorist, one might attempt a quick rush through the main entrance, the side window, or through the basement area. If you are rushing the building it might be wise to bring a few smoke grenades or molotovs to block advancing SWAT players. Another good strategy is to control the outside of the building with long range weapons like snipers and LMG and then push the main building.

As a counter-terrorist, a good strategy would be to hide out in the main facility and defend the entrances. Some well placed smoke and incendiary grenades can block many of the primary entry points. Guarding the building from the outside would be beneficial as well, though it can be quite dangerous due to the minimal cover near the back of the station. An alternative method to defend the outside is to head back into the storage building and snipe from the window.
