New to the building and server scene. Played a long time ago when game first came out. Having fun using this as a creative outlet.

Anyways, I'm thinking of hosting a survival server and placing this as the spawn structure. Any suggestions on plugins to use to host a healthy open survival server to the public? Thinking of hosting some test runs to see what works well and what needs to be worked on. Anyone interested?

I'm open to name suggestions. I really have no idea right now

I will say this is quite an impressive spawn map. I am sure this took you quite a long time to build. It might take me a while before I get to this level skill. Still very impressive job on it. How many players are you expecting this spawn to hold? For me I am just trying for a total of 40 players max. This one looks like it would hold several hundreds of players. If a new player spawns in the center it might be a bit chaotic to say the least. You might need a small dedicated room to allow new players into the world so they are not overwhelmed.

I am just starting my first maps and there is a lot I still need to learn.

Honestly I just want it to act as a hub in the world for people to come trade with villagers and stuff. If people live there that's cool if not that's also cool. I assume most people will want to go out and start their own towns though. As for the amount of players it just depends on how popular it is

Haha yeah I just built my PC. Thought that signing in with the same account as used on my old computer would work as activation that I have a windows account, but apparently not

You might want to consider changing the spawn point, its too big, i've personally encountered a problem with new players leaving the server because it was too hard to leave spawn, then again you could fix it by having them spawn in a help room, aside from that the build itself looks very nice

Good idea, didn't think of that. I may just have them spawn in an entrance way off to the side and leave it up to them to explore the structure or run off and start their own experience, because yeah it is fairly easy to get lost in it right now- which is something else I'm trying to figure out
