This is a project that has pulled from several of the great skyship creators of Planet Minecraft. I have squared off two fleets consisting of several ships from many authors. I have gotten permission from all the shipbuilders and have there names linked. 


the two sides are:


The Arkellian, led by their flagship the Tres Indu Unum
Rova 
ljprice 


side 2, Led by the dreadnoght-sky fortress of the dragon emporer

while this matchup may seem unfair the ship ammounts are equal, and I will be adding even more as time goes on.

i would realy love to see it if someone could adapt it so with redstone or a mod that all canons could work and maybe that the ships could even fly so you also could fight the battle

Well there was a Zepplin mod, but it stopped being updated at 1.2ish (which really sucked cause i loved that mod) As for a system to make cannons that fire at the same time, you can use mighty pork's power craft(well it used to be his i think XOR manages it now) to use a redstone radio to connect them all, or if you want a REAL cannon you can use Balkons weapon mod.

It's only one type of cannon, but the ICBM mod with universal electricity has auto turrets and railguns if you want more diversity. Also Flan's mods have great librarys of mods that van be uset, they have some anti-aircraft guns and other mounted weaponarty.

It does make me wish the height limit in minecraft was about a factor of 10 bigger, and the render distance was longer.  It is interesting to see a lot of these designs together for comparison, but they almost seem too close together.

Agreed 100%.    I love seeing everyone's builds together in one place.   Given the restrictions that minecraft has as far as height limits go, I'd say he did pretty well as far as having two fleets square off face to face.   Looking forward to more, regardless.

I tried a farther distance at first, but I wanted to al least be able to get the two flagships, at least, to be able to see eachother, and with the render ditance turned all the way up, I just couldnt do that untill I got them this close. sorry.

Hah, this is cool because Kitsuna and I were actually making a sort of "official" sky factions type thing.  Once he finishes his flagship Im sure that the factions will be made solid, so we can maybe chronicle an epic "War of the Skies" over PMC.   :D
