I am Puttin' on the Ritz comming to you folks with yet another island map! Have any of you folks ever wondered, how do these grand land masses known as islands emerge into reality in the middle of water? How does an island with beautiful landscapes and mountains apear in the ocean, fit with plants and trees? Well, it's a long, chaotic process that takes great periods of time that creates an island! Underground volcanoes expell lava that of course quickly turns into solid rock in the depths of the ocean, and that lava expands and makes that solid rock larger and larger and slowly it rises up, reaching the surface of the ocean! from there the volcano continues to spill lava to the edge of the newly emerged rock and the rock expands outwards with the help of volcanic eruptions in a chaotic process. Now this rock begins to grind up into sediment creating dark soil, which is rich with minerals and nutrients that are exemplary for plant growth. Seeds are brought from the mainland by wind or by birds and are planted into this rich soil, and the seeds grow to vegetate the land. This real life process is responsible for the creation of many islands such as Hawai'i which even as we speak is continuing to expand!

          Now that we've finished with our geology lesson, let us continue on with the map itself! I tried to recreate this event as best as I possibly could. The island has a ruged shoreline made up of rock, cobblestone and dotted with obsidian, the center contains a central pool of lava with smoke comming out of it, which is the sight where the lava is being erupted from. Around this central pool are 3 smaller pools of lava and an obsidian landscape dotted with netherrack. On certain sections near the shoreline there are areas with dirt and grass where small trees, bushes, and shrubs grow. 

          This map is fit for survival. The environment may pose quite a challenge at first, but it is still possible to build your shelter with the small trees, there will also be caves and resources underground. However if you wish to play this map on creative and build something of your own, then cheats are enabled for you to do so.
