I am currently trying to build an adventure map, this will be part of a series of 3 maps. That is, if I have enough spare time on my hands and if people will like this map or not.

Here is a little intro for you guys:

You had just married the love of your life, the wedding had been concluded a few hours ago and the guests had all already gone home. Enjoying the last bit of sunlight of this wonderful day you walk into the woods together. In a small clearing you danced together while humming the music they played on the wedding. You were both so happy that you finally got married, it had taken a lot of effort to convince her dad that you were good enough for her. Suddenly she made a fearful noise and looked at something behind you. As you were about to draw your sword and turn around to see what had scared her, you felt a smack on your head and everything went black.
When you regained consciousness you found yourself on the ground in the clearing, your wife was gone. Being the excellent tracker you are, you quickly found some footsteps in the mud, several bandits had attacked you and kidnapped your wife! Return to the town to stock up some resources for what might be the most dangerous chase of your life. Then follow the traces the bandits left and get your wife back. For glory, for immortality, for love!

-EDIT- Because of problems with my Minecraft I have lost the save file of this map... I will try to recreate it in the near future when my real life is a bit less busy.

Additional Notes

I have been inspired to try and make my own adventuremap by the videos made by the Yogscast.

The style of the houses I got from FreeStyleOMG on youtube, look him up... he has a pretty cool medieval Paris recreation.

The texture pack used in the picture is an custom JohnSmith texturepack, made by a friend of mine (Blackeel42) which is not (yet) available for download.
