Here's some important information you should know before playing this map:
If the map breaks and you have to restart, use the following commands:
/team leave @s /reload
If you find yourself stuck and have no idea what to do just send me a message or leave a comment and I'll try to help you out
The map is only fully functional up to finishing the Protector boss fight. Although there is more content afterwards, it is all still a work in progress so it could still break!
Version:
-This map was made for Minecraft Java - 1.16 Pre-release 5
-Make sure you are NOT playing on Minecraft 1.15 or the map will not load correctly!
Files:
-The file size for this map is ~122MB
-The datapack location is: MCRPGproject\datapacks\map\data
-Feel free to look through all of the commands, but don't change them unless you know what you are doing!
-If you decide to change them I guarantee they will bring you great pain
Rating:
-This map is rated PG-13
-There is inappropriate humour and occasional swears throughout
-It's not to be taken too seriously
Multiplayer:
-This map is multiplayer friendly; however, the difficulty does not scale
-If running on a server, make sure command blocks are enabled
Map:
-Read ALL the instructions in the beginning room
-Make sure you read all the dialogue thoroughly
-The quest book only updates after you drop it from your inventory
-The quest book provides useful information on how to complete quests and where to go next
-If you get lost you can use your eye of ender to teleport to your last spawn point
-Areas that are part of the map will always be connected together via a gravel path
-You can wander wherever you want, it won't affect the main quest story-line
-If you lose track of the path you can always teleport back to your last spawn point
-Certain choices must be made by clicking the option text onscreen

This is only a BETA version of the map. We plan to add many more areas, enemies, items and quests for the full release!
This map has been exhaustively tested to avoid breaking; however, if you find any bugs or other exploits please let us know so we can fix them!

The map file has been updated and should be properly reset now. No more starting halfway through the Elwood story-line!
If you want to be extra safe run /team leave @s and /reload when you first enter the map to double make sure everything gets reset properly. If this isn't working let us know where the map broke so we can figure out why it isn't resetting properly.
Also there's been a few balance changes / bug fixes:
-Most custom enemies have had damage/health nerfs. For the beginning of the map these enemies seemed a bit too tough.
-Heavy Axe cost adjustment in Treewell. Not so ridiculously overpriced now!
-All potion text should now properly read 60s duration instead of 20s.
As an extra note:
Development has been coming along quite nicely for the next section of the map. Although the map is only fully functional up until the end of the protector boss fight, there is a bit to explore afterwards. Feel free to leave ideas for the next section of the map such as new weapons/quests/etc.
