Almost everything you ever knew is gone. Gone. Even your items were left behind to make room for a few more villagers, who are all that remains of Brushfire. The Cloud City Arcturus kindly hosts the ragged refugees, but matters are not all uphill from here. In every free moment he gets, the mayor talks in hushed voices with the governor of Arcturus in the Executive Building. Friends who looked up to you now grow distant. You feel more alone ever. The monsters who were the bane of your village did not come across Brushfire randomly. Their eyes are locked on the grand prize of the known land: the Sun-Tree of Arcturus. But if this scourge of order thinks that control will come easily, then they have another thing coming. Because there's nothing more dangerous than a man with nothing to lose.

This story takes place right where Part I left off. You have made it to Arcturus safely, and you think this whole mess can now work itself out. Unfortunately, if everything works itself out, everything known to you will become a wasteland ruled by the monsters who attacked your village to try to take your escape route to Arcturus to get their hands (or legs) on the Sun-Tree. Cloud City is virtually defenseless, so it is up to you to save the kingdom. You set out to hunt down this evil force and vanquish it. Its path of destruction is subtle, but it becomes evident as you progress through your journey. Your pursuit of the evil leads you through liars, thieves, killers, and traitors that you will need to overcome in order to fulfill your goals. It's going to take exceptional skill, strength, and willpower to succeed. Are you ready? Then play The Last Defense Part II !!!

This map will have a more direct storyline, so you will always know what the next "big step" is. However, you will still have lots of freedom with side quests, mining sprees, and exploration without the boring and predictable iron-fisted structure!!! We are adding the Nether, Mining Spree "quests," more customized items, dungeons/challenge quests, and more builds!

Additional Notes

Thank you to everyone who played our first map and is sticking with us! This is only our second map. We are still amateurs at map-making so again, ALL feedback is welcomed!!! We want to know what we do well and what needs improved! Please check out the page for Part I so you get a background on what happens in this map.

We have been trying to incorporate McEdit but it crashes quite a bit. Regardless, we have high hopes for this map and we expect that they will be met, so make sure you play it! Those of you with Youtube accounts, we'd love to watch somebody play it; we could see what we needed to fix in an update!
