One would expect most of the submissions in Planet Minecraft's Skyscraper Solo Minecraft Project Contest to be your good ol' rectangular office building that reaches the build limit. They are certainly impressive, but I decided to veer off of the traditional style of what is considered a "skyscraper."
I simply applied the Victorian style to a super-structure that skewers the sky!
From top to bottom, it is around 200 blocks tall. It contains numerous rooms all styled after The A.I. Maze. Out front is a beautiful fountain within a round-about. Beside it are twin trees. And through the arch and the great front door lies a grand piano sitting beneath a giant chandelier.
Of course, it doesn't go completely into the traditional Victorian style either: the wings, for example, use a rather modern style with their unique curvature and large windows.
The skyscraper took roughly 9-10 days to complete, with a good plenty of time used in each day put toward finishing this behemoth!
And now the sun sets on a completed Victorian Mansion Skyscraper, with a grateful builder resting within its high walls and long halls.
And 'til next time, never cease to amaze!
