Yo Guys! Here it is! The wait is over. So, this map has many mountains and lots of snow. But here is the interesting thing, I didn't want dirt so I tried a lot of things like mycilium, brown wool, brown clay. Then it hit me, Pozdol! I tried it and it turned out great, To me anyway. The map is pretty large, around 2500x2500. So it was pretty hard to render, But they turned out great too.

I made the mountains fit with the land, and valleys are very nice to me. I tried to make some steppes, it worked on some but others I just said, "It's the himalayas!". I tried with the mountains to make as realistic to the himalayas, it turned out ok. I'm still deciding if I like the Himalayas better, or the Swiss Alps. (Which could come soon...)

Also guys my huge map is coming in a couple months! Maybe May 15? Anyway, Its going to have medieval/fantasy and other style cities, villages and private homes! This will also be my most realistic map I have ever made. it's still in the making right now.

You have layed down the snow so that it doesn't cover steep places, because that's how snow appears in real mountains. You've done a such good job at it and it seems inpossible to do it with worldpainter, so what do you use to lay down the snow?

It's actaully one if the easiest things in world painter, but time consuming. I prefer to keep something's secret, but I'm making a blog soon so this will be in it :)

I just found out what you meant when I was fidling about with worldpainter. Now that I know, it feels like I've wasted hours on manually putting square kilometers of snow on mountains :(
